For the protection of our members we have decided on the following guidelines for Prince Edward Legion #81 opening.

Only members will be allowed in who have received both vaccinations with proof (vaccination card or digital on phone) - Spouses without memberships are allowed provided they are accompanied by the member and show proof of vaccination

A limit of 2 guests who are double vaxxed and have proof of vaccination are allowed in with a member in good standing - guests must leave when the member leaves.

You will be required to show your 2022 membership card along with your proof of vaccination to the bar steward prior to being served.

Masks are not mandatory.

The VLT's have been re-arranged and the wall has been removed so the machines are visible in the branch.  The machines have been spaced as per the COVID-19 guidelines from Manitoba Lotteries.

President's Report - May 10/2022

Good evening - The good weather is here and summer has started. Let’s hope it keeps up.

Covid rules haven’t change much.

I haven’t heard much from our committee about changing and adding to the house rules but there is lot’s of stuff to understand and it has to be done right before we can post them.

Planning for July 1st is well on it’s way. If anyone would like a letter for donations they are at the bar. And I would like to asked that if you take one to make a list of who you drop it off to so we don’t double up and please send it to Tracy our ways&means chair. ( email is tracywmpel@gmail.com )

Friday nights are doing well when we have bands and we have had DJ music on Saturdays trying to see if this helps keeping members here for Saturday nights. I’ve heard some talk about trying to have food again for Friday nights . Maybe we can start this in the fall time when the draws start again and if covid rules allow.

And as you know I will be going to the convention in Thunder Bay in June and maybe I will be able to bring back some info on how everyone else is doing things at other branches in our command area and Ontario.

I’m going to check again with 215 to see if we can hold the corn roast there or we hold it here at our branch.

I move for adoption of my report
President
Brent Vall
